Palz Tap House - HUNTINGDON VALLEY

We booked a baby shower for the backroom that was not noticed in the book. They had to rush to a waitress to take us, but it was overwhelmed by a large group of unexpected people. She ran into the room and sparingly and seemed like she had her attention elsewhere. Food wasn't so great and drinks sounded very nice on the menu, but were okay when we got it. The saving grace was that while small the backroom was cozy and had enough space to set up the decorations for the baby shower.

I think Palz has the best pizza around. It?s always fresh and consistent in the way it tastes. We normally get take out but decided to dine in tonight and to our surprise it was trivia night. The fries were perfect , little well done just how I like them. Service was fast and efficient. I definitely recommend trying them out!!

Food was good. The French onion soup was a little on the salty side and the broth had a gritty texture to it. The pizza was great, nice crust sauce and toppings were flavorful. The wing dings were nice and crispy and the dipping sauce was delicious. Will definitely be back.

Got the scoop to check this place out. Glad we did. The portion sizes were good. I had a fantastic meal. The waitress was super knowledgeable about the menu and was able to make great recommendations.

Living so close by, but never stopping in?we gave it a shot on a Monday night. Not much to say, wasn?t very memorable. Wasn?t horrible. They are struggling with lack of help, like everyone else it seems. However our rating was not reflective of that. French onion soup was pretty good. I ordered the burger with pulled pork (minus the pulled pork, bacon instead). Girlfriend got the cheesesteak egg rolls. Her dinner was delicious, but super greasy. Should?ve put them in a paper towel before plating maybe. My burger was cooked well, no complaints. It was just a little above average. Stressed bartenders with a Fundraiser going on (2 bartenders/servers for the whole place, and the Fundraiser made it crowded). Bar patrons were kinda rude, not made it like a neighborhood friendly hangout. Definitely a much different vibe than our usual spot. Glad we tried it, probably won?t go back soon, s as we have other local spots on the list we?d like to try!
