Írjon visszajelzéstGreat service and plenty of parking on a Sat night. We ordered a few dishes and they were all good. I was surprised that they do not offer any Riesling wine. Most of the Thai restaurants we've been to serve Riesling or Modesto. They have Chardonnay, however I prefer to have sweet wine when eating spicy Thai food.
Authentic. Awesome service. The crab fried rice is exactly like you get it in Thailand. The curries are strong in a good way. The Thai ice tea is not too sweet like other Thai restaurant. My kids love the fried pork ribs, juicy and tender. We are going back soon.
I kinda dreaded coming here again but I needed a non fast food lunch before work last weekend and it's right around the corner from my place. I immediately knew something was up because the old nasty curtains that used to cover the windows were gone. And there were actually people inside lots of people! The last time I came here, this place was like a cave. Dark, dank, dull and lifeless. Half the lights used to be burned out, the bathroom was funky, and they had a gigantic tiki bar at the front for some odd reason. The food kinda sucked and the workers would just sort of stare at you when you walked in, waiting for you to make the first move. This time I walked in and was greeted with a smile by one of the waitresses (who it turns out is the new owner). She gave me a new menu and I saw the lunch special staring me right in my eyeballs. She confirmed that they do the lunch special every day (even Saturday) so I ordered the chicken Ka Pow. I told her I liked the new look and she said thank you and to please bear with her as she gets the menu and staff worked out, plus some more renovation inside. I told her no problem, I'm just happy to see the lunch special on a weekend lol. My lunch came and it was fantastic. The dressing on the salad was like a subtle honey mustard and the cream cheese wonton was **** delicious. The entree was tasty and actually a bit too much food for me but I'm not complaining. If I had a nitpick it would be that the food was a little slow to arrive but the server (a different girl) apologized again and considering they're still getting up to speed I'm not holding it against them. I figure it can only get better. Great food, friendly people, a fresh look and lunch special on the *weekend*. I'll be back probably with my buds to drink beer and eat those damn tasty cheese wontons!
I was doing some errands on a Saturday afternoon and was craving Thai food. This restaurant is next door to my bank so I decided to come in for lunch. When I walked into the restaurant I was immediately greeted by a friendly staff member. It was a slow afternoon so I had the choice to sit anywhere. The interior decor is very lovely. The walls are covered with pictures of Thailand. I love looking at the these pictures, it really ties into the theme of the restaurant. The walls on the other side of the restaurant has the menu written on chalkboards. I ordered the lunch special Yellow Curry with chicken and my boyfriend ordered the Kung Pao Chicken. The entrees come with a small vegetable soup, salad, and white rice. The soup was very tasty; it had mushrooms, baby corn, and cabbage. The Yellow Curry had the perfect amount of spices (spicy but not burning hot) and they were very generous with the chicken. The salad was just a regular caesar salad with ranch dressing. I also ordered the mango with sticky rice for dessert. The sticky rice had fried soy beans on top for an extra crunch. The sticky rice was one of the best I've ever had; it was coconuty and sweet. The mangos were sweet and soft. Great dessert to finish off my meal. There was only one staff member on duty and she was so friendly and sweet. She took her time explaining the crunchy soy bean topping on the mango sticky rice. I liked how she was attentive but not too overwhelming. The interior was so lovely and I enjoyed looking at the pictures during my meal. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend coming here for Thai food. I will be visiting this place again soon!
While this shop has changed hands a few times over the years, the current owners have done a fantastic job achieving the highest quality consistent Thai food on the area. This is my favorite place to go to feel better about the universe. I'm a ridiculous creature of habit so it's always my favorite Thai chicken curry for me, but my wife and daughter enjoy broader menu selections. They love the Thai ice tea, cream cheese won ton appetizers, Pad Thai, and a variety of other dishes. Just had a late lunch there yesterday. Wonderful meal. Excellent beer. It's good to be alive.
