Slater's 50/50 - Huntington Beach

I have been here a few times now. Once was for a Christmas gathering, and a few times for happy hours. The staff is nice and friendly and the atmosphere and setting is welcoming, with nice lighting especially because of the windows throughout the restaurant.I came last Thursday and there was a special for $1 beers all days select beers as seen in the picture on the plastic frame) and special $3 shots. Also all other drinks are 2 for 1 during happy hours!I did not have much time there so I had the chicken tenders with fries and 2 Jameson with ginger beer, and a beer. It only cost $24 tip.I will be back.

I had no idea what to order when I got my 50/50 burger. Luckily, Nick Nap made me feel welcome, and showed me a new whiskey on the rocks i would've never tried before. This place is right by my house, and it was great experience. I can't wait to come back. Thank you guys.

First impressions are hard to overcome. Mine was amazing.The wife and I were looking for something new and we had seen Slater's go in about two years ago near where we live. This location has had several restaurants clubs enterprises come and go so we had been waiting to see if this place would make it.From the moment we go there, the staff was amazing. When they found out it was our first time, they went the extra mile. Even the manager came over to our table to introduce himself and say how glad they were that we gave them a try.That's great and all, but what about the food? Again, what a thrill.It is American grill style food. Burgers, fries, onion rings etc. But the care and attention to detail was really impressive. It was clear they had taken the time to craft something unique and not just throw the frozen fries in the oil.I would highly recommend Slater's 50 50. Go get some!

Some places are all hype but not this place oohhhhh it did not dissapoin at all amazing atmosphere and the food was delicious and as advertised

We stopped in Saturday evening after a hard day of work, tired but looking for a good meal. Nick our waiter gave us several recommendations from drinks, to apps, to how to improve their almost perfect PBJ burger. Adding a side of vanilla ice cream on the side for a small flavor upgrade REALLY took the burger to a whole new level! This off the menu suggestion needs to be tried by everyone! Slaters, Nick is the best! Give that man a raise. He knows your menu, how to engage with customers, and make a quick meal an event we won't soon forget. I didn't even mention how your vampire dip has improved, but Nick brought it out next warm and super flavorful. Like it used to be at the old location on Beach Blvd. We will be back!
