Crabtrees New York Main - Huntington

Great food, friendly staff, cozy and cool atmosphere. Kinda a speakeasy steampunk vibe. Fun place to start or end the night at, you get to look out at NY Ave and Main Street. Drinks are great and strong, and the pretzels are my favorite on the menu. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Lovely bar on a second floor overlooking Main street. When we were there there was live music. IT was not to crowded but we were there in the middle of the week so I don't know how it looks on Friday night or weekends. I imagine finding parking around downtown Huntington is a challenge. We had tacos they have several choices beer and cocktails. Cocktails were on expensive side but pricing overall is reasonable. Nice place for sitting down and catching in. I would certainly recommend Crabtree's

On the commemorative day with a party of 8. We enjoyed the wide range of beer, many locally brewed. For an appetitemaker went with the filled avocado and the beet salad. Both were full of taste and well portioned. Pork Porterhouse completed the meal as the main course. It was cooked for perfection and served on the top of the sweet corn bread. We all enjoyed the atmosphere and the view of the Huntington Village.

What a great night! The view of the huge windows is beautiful at sunset and the ambience is hip and welcoming. Service was great; super attentive. The house is crisp and tasty. While the cauliflower soup (a special) was pretty bland any other appetizer was excellent, especially the white fish spread. When I asked for more Chimichurri drizzle for the soup, they were generously received. We were so full of the tasty first course, it was hard to get through the main, what is ok because the reubs of active cettes were excellent the next day! We need to take our time and really enjoy the place and the food because on Tuesday night went, highly recommended. Dessert was exaggerated. Try the Graham cracker pudding... it was warm and tasteful. Can't wait to go again!!
