Curries start at $13 and specials range from $25-$30. Red curry was beautiful and loaded with vegetables, and the Tom Yum Goong (shrimp) soup was delicious! Place is also clean.
I had the pineapple rice/ duck entrée, it was amazing, my fiance tried the salmon fried rice and she loved it. We got 2 appetizers, both were delicious. Waitress was super sweet, the overall experience was great! Recommend 100
Thai cuisine can be divided into four primary regions: North, Northeast, Central, and South. Most Thai dishes found in the United States are representative of 'Southern' style cooking, with a few notable exceptions from the 'Central' region. Popular dishes such as Tom Yam, Khao Phat Kraphao, Massaman Curry, and the infamous Pad Thai feature essential Thai ingredients. These meals are typically bold, highlighting strong flavors from curries, spices, hot peppers, and an abundance of basil. Coconut milk and oils are commonly used in the cooking process as well. I dined at Racha and was pleased with my selection. The food arrived hot and well-seasoned, and the accompanying sauces were excellent. I ordered the spicy 'cut off' noodles with chicken at a 'normal' heat level, and I was delighted. The balance of herbs and spices was expertly done, and the heat was just right for me. However, I do have a couple of critiques: there were no utensils in the bag—no napkins, no chopsticks. Luckily, I always carry my reusable utensils, so I was prepared. Another downside was the portion sizes; I found myself wishing for more. I did order an appetizer to help satisfy my hunger, but as someone with a big appetite, especially when the food is this delicious, I could have happily eaten more. Overall, I highly recommend giving this place a try, especially if you’re feeling adventurous. I believe you'll agree that it's definitely worth it!
We had a fantastic dinner! I ordered the pineapple fried rice with duck, while my wife enjoyed the Massaman curry with chicken. She claimed it was the best Massaman she had ever tasted. One thing she particularly appreciated was the abundance of vegetables, like peppers and onions, in the curry. Often at other Thai restaurants, we find the curry is primarily just potatoes and meat, so this made a delightful difference.
The food felt authentic, but it was too bland for my liking. The service was excellent, although the prices were definitely on the higher side.
