Southern Egg Cafe - Huntsville

We have only tried the breakfast menu during our visit to this charming little restaurant, but we were impressed. There are only 11 tables, and they serve breakfast and lunch with a full menu available until 2 p.m. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious with generous portions. The only downside was that the cookies were a bit underwhelming, but overall we were very satisfied with our experience. We look forward to trying out the lunch options next time. We recently saw a positive review on al.com, so we expect it to get busier. This restaurant has quickly become our favorite local spot!

I am searching for a place to have both food and family fun in Huntsville and stumbled upon this charming restaurant. The breakfast I had was amazing! My husband enjoyed the chorizo storm dish, and the pancakes were delightfully fluffy with perfectly cooked speck. The bottomless coffee was a nice touch, and the staff was friendly and cute. We will definitely be returning!

Excellent! This small, local diner has fantastic food. The service was quick and friendly, the coffee was hot, and our meals came out fast. I highly recommend trying the chorizo plate - it was delicious!

A great breakfast here! freshly baked biscuits, creamy cheeses, salty south ham eggs. eier benedict also has rave reviews. bottomless coffee good service surpassed the experience. highly recommended for a good, simple breakfast for those who prefer independent restaurants sharing my dislike to chains!
