We love it! Once a week or more with family and friends.
The food is decent but a bit overpriced for the quality. The bartenders, however, seem to lack knowledge about beer types; they don't know the difference between a stout and an IPA, and they'll even argue with you if you try to correct them. It's quite amusing, really.
We stumbled on Hangars by accident and what a nice suprise. It will be a great place for date night with my wife because it is a clean restaurant and the food was delicious...and they have real horseradish. That's definitely a bonus.
I had a fairly average experience at the restaurant. I ordered the chicken parmesan and the chicken tortellini soup. The soup was simple but decent, while I was disappointed with the chicken parmesan. Although the chicken was fried well, the pasta was overcooked, and the dish as a whole lacked flavor. A few herbs and spices could have significantly enhanced it, but unfortunately, salt and pepper only did so much. On the positive side, the service was excellent, and the mixed drinks were prepared correctly and promptly—kudos to the bartender! Overall, it was an average experience with the food, not a reason to avoid the place, but definitely some areas that could use improvement.
The food and service were good overall; however, I reached out a week in advance with questions about gluten-free options, but unfortunately, I did not receive a response. It seems that Huron, SD, has a definite lack of gluten-free choices.
