Balaban Yantyk - Hurzuf

Terrible café!!! We arrived when there weren't many people, and we ordered veal shashlik, a skillet with veal, and grilled vegetables. It took them 50 minutes to prepare. Finally, they brought the meat and the skillet, but the veal was tough and barely chewable. The skillet was filled with oil, with the potatoes floating in it, and everything was bland. Then we ordered more shashlik and a dish called "yantyk," but we ended up waiting an hour for the shashlik because the chef simply forgot about it. When we inquired about the yantyk, they told us it wouldn't be available. We had to keep reminding the staff about our order and asking where the grilled vegetables and yantyk were. Only then did the waiter rush off to check on the readiness. And this was not even during peak hours. In conclusion, the food was unenjoyable, and the service was poor.

The food from Tatar cuisine is excellent and delicious—we tried everything and had no complaints. There is no alcohol available here, but you can bring your own, which you can purchase from the store downstairs—no problem at all. They'll provide ice and glasses, and will open the wine for you.
