Ichitaro Dining - HYDE PARK

Disappointed experience! The food was bad, the had the king fish as main. The fish was dry and served with simple steamed vege without sauce. Not worth paying a fine dining price for a hospital food or inflight food quality! The service was bad and rushed to serve the birthday cake when we were still eating the main. Then they served the cake with a damaged edge as they accidentally tipped it. The overall experience was unpleasant.

Given the ratings, I was expecting something a lot more impressive. Instead, I was served amateur quality sushi that is comparable to takeaway stores. The sashimi was likely frozen and rather tasteless. The sushi rice was overcooked and mushy. The choices for sushi rolls were cheap. Maybe the cooked dishes are the reason for the high zomato ratings but for anyone who even knows what good sushi is do not go here. You would get much better quality at sushi train.

I think this is one of the best Japanese places to eat in Adelaide I can't imagine that many competitors, they could have a wider variety of foods for different people but I still highly recommend this to any person willing to try new things!

Tiny yummy Japanese restaurant next door to The Pot in King William road. I found the entrees more delicious than the mains. Worth a visit but not much ambience

Came to dinner here, ordered the black pfeffer huhn, which was beautiful, but it wasn't so spicy. the waiter let us know that sushi wasn't on the menu in this night, and when we ordered a dish with fish, it was cut quite unconsistently so that my guess is the sushi cook was sick.
