Located high above the lakes between vineyards and directly on the edge of the forest, Lenzenberg is ideal as a starting point or destination for Kaiserstuhl hikes. The original small building has been extended regularly, now there is a conservatory and a dome tent that quadruples the original capacity. In the next enlargement, the Emu ́s and the goats have to make room in the open area, but they will otherwise narrow. The petting zoo is not to be found in a child-friendly way on the menu, and here there are good bourgeois offers. The wine selection is naturally local but balanced. We had entered a larger company and have the reserved places in the winter garden. The term has its right here, it should be used only in winter! At the pleasant summer temperatures, the glass cage was heated so that it is recommended to stay in swimwear. And opening the windows is strictly prevented so that the table decoration could fly away! So we prefer to go under the tent track or the beautiful old trees (The cherries had almost the color of the evening dress of my table lady, but almost around and waited for culinary refreshment. With a really good winemaker, that was also very good. As a result we received an excellently maintained salmon and (Friday is fish day! wonderfully prepared grilled salmon sides. The dry Riesling was also very good for Kaiserstuhlr conditions. The buffet offered to the main course, including a very tasty turkey roast, fine lamb aprons and unfortunately dry spicy in the bacon, the company was a bit too big for the kitchen. Nevertheless, the supplements were delicious and varied. Dessert also exists, but enjoyed the view. The absolute, no day was coffee, reminded me strongly of my youth hostels. Should not happen in a day tour! Conclusion: The location is unique. The restaurant is a little welcoming and installed. The kitchen also delivers good results with great utilization. The coffee area is renewed. The service has its own charm. For families with animals a paradise!

They say that the village of Sieingen in the Kaiserstuhl is one of the warmest places in Germany and rises behind this village Sieingen at the southern end from the Kaiserstuhl der Lenzenberg. Above the border where the slope is planted with vines, stands the Rasthaus Lenzerberg. Through the vineyards a road leads to the rest house, so even people who are badly walking can drive by car. A parking lot is in front of the house. In addition, the host may also use its so-called Buckelbus to drive from Sieingen and back to Lenzenberg. For people. those who like to hike and enjoy nature, there are wonderful ways to hike at the Kaiserstuhl and then finish the day in the Rasthaus. Am Freitag haben wir die Hochzeitsfeier im Restaurant Lenzenberg gefeiert. Der kleine Tierpark mit den Pfauen, Hasen und weiterem Getier und das übrige Ambiente ist hervorragend geeignet für Ausflüge, Feiern oder Essen mit hervorragender Aussicht über die gesamte Rheinebene.
