City Grill - iKapa iNingizimu Afrika

I would give this restaurant five stars for its delicious roasted vegetables. The presentation of the salad was beautiful, and the steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned nicely. I did notice that the service in South Africa is different from what I am used to in the US. The servers do not come to the table as frequently to check on you, but it is not a big deal as you can still easily get their attention and take your time without feeling rushed.

I had the steak diane, which was very nice, but the creamy mushroom sauce on top of it was a bit salty. The fries and onion rings were very nice, and the service was good.

Located right by the water, this restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The food is beautifully presented and utterly delicious. I highly recommend trying the Hawaiian Burger, Garlic Roll, Mushroom Chicken, and Caesar Salad.

We enjoyed our time there as a group. Godfrey was our server. He recommended the zebra when I said that I wanted to try one of the venison dishes. It was tender and not too gamy. I’d order it again. We ordered several salads that looked and tasted delicious. The service was fast and the food was hot. It has a nice ambiance. We were not there on a day with good weather so I’d definitely return to sit outside and enjoy the view.

We booked through Waterfront Charters cruise. Very limited options, especially for people who are allergic to certain foods. The food was okay, but there was nothing to write home about. The last who served us was absolutely awesome
