Jakes Hamburgers - ILFORD

I've been going to jake for over 40 years. their burgers are legendary and correct. Although the load is not beautiful, their burgers are the best I had. if they try to blow out the 12 or 16 unzen, they may need to shift their kiefer to get it in the mouth, but it is delicious!

At first glance, this place has a classic old-school vibe that might deter some, but I’m glad I gave it a chance. This restaurant is fantastic! The prices are great, and the burgers are exactly what I wanted but never realized I needed. If every burger tasted this good, the world would be a much better place. The buns are perfectly toasted, with a delightful crispiness on the edges, and the burgers have a wonderful texture. I had a chance to chat with the owner, who has been here for 50 years—what a kind guy! You can really taste the quality in the food. Both the flavor and texture of these burgers are clearly well thought out. I really enjoyed my experience!

No cakes can match the quality of the food served at Jake's. I've been trying to believe this for over 30 years. The service is excellent, and the menu is a "blowout" for hungry customers. Five stars all day!

Delighted to see this is still open and looks the same as it did when I first ate there 25 years ago! Superb burgers and lovely fella :
