The La Paz batchoy was delicious, but I wasn't a fan of the puto served with it. The puto was sticky and overly sweet, which didn't complement the batchoy at all. This pairing feels completely off. The batchoy itself is priced at 120 for a larger size, while the smaller one is 105.
Netongs is really the place where they can pamper in iloilos taste character. good that they were able to branch off and the quality of the bowl in atria area so more and more people can experience the Batch groom. include this is your top list if you have guests from other provinces or countries. they also serve rice flour.
Netong's was highly recommended by locals as one of the best spots for La Paz Batchoy. The broth was flavorful, and the noodles had a nice al dente texture. However, I would have enjoyed it more if there had been more chicharrón (fried pork) on top. It paired well with Koks on the rocks and the puto (steamed rice cake wrapped in banana leaves). If you're short on time in Iloilo City, I suggest visiting the Atria Park branch of Netong’s Original La Paz Batchoy. It’s conveniently located just a short walk from the beautiful riverside esplanade, and there are other shops and cafes nearby where you can pick up pasalubong (souvenirs) to take home to family and friends. The nearby Biscocho House offers a variety of baked goods as well.
Above average batchoy, starting to feel commericalized compared to its Lapaz market branch counterpart. Still its a good place to bring guests who want to avoid the wet market environment.
