Cheddar's - Independence

I had the chicken strips and my man had the chicken potcake. both were very good. I have a baked kartoffel and coleslaw with my chicken strips and their buffalo dipping sauce. the stripes were large pieces of chicken breast meat and there were more than I could eat, so took two strips home and left them to lunch the next day. the koleslaw was creamy and very tasty. we were often here when they first opened, but the quality went after a year or so, and we quit. we thought we would give them another try and I'm glad we did. perhaps a change of administration, but I would recommend it now.

This was my first time here. We just moved back to KC and every time I come and visit, I said I needed to try it. It was a decently busy night but not crazy. We had no wait. Our wait staff was also the bartender. She was very nice and attentive. Our glasses stayed full. She answered all of our questions regarding menu items. We ordered the coconut shrimp and they were out of the sauce it comes with. The shrimp was ok without it but I'm sure they would have been better with it. Hubs got a T-Bone Steak, I had ribs and shrimp, the boy had a grilled cheese and the girl, chicken tenders. Everyone's food was good. The steak was a bit chewy bit I had to remind him we weren't at a steakhouse. For the type of restaurant it was, the food was pretty good. Our service was great and that alone will make me want to come back. If you're in the area, give it a try, I think you'll like it.

My wife and I went with our 2 year old. She fell asleep in the car so I got something to go. But the baby woke up so we went back in after paying and tipping the bar lady. I sat down at a booth and the waiter assumed I wasn 't going to tip because my food was in a to-go container. So he got the manager and the manager told me I cant stay if i 'm not tipping. I said i 'm eating right now how do you know i 'm not going to tip ? My wife was going to eat and I would have tipped the new waiter but we were forced to leave the restaurant. My wife and daughter never got any food. They said we can sit at the bar. I have a 2 year old, she can 't sit on a bar stool. So very unprofessional and honestly has no customer service.

Everything was great service great staff we had really a nice time our waitress she was brilliant and very friendly and tense in any case again

Wow-hookers are fantastic. that I would rate four, it is a good food, but the service I would give five. If I could give him a 4.5, I would. the place is clean and the place I visited had a proper aesthetic. this place will fulfill their expectations, but for me it was not surpassed, so I will not give him five.
