Most people eat on Saturday and Sunday. Only the ride thru is open on weekends. I'm not going here as we used to. I don't like eating in my vehicle, and I prefer access to a toilet room to wash my hands.
I can't say anything about their food. We got there on a Saturday afternoon, and we are from out of town, only to find that the dining room was closed. We did not want to eat in our car so we chose to go somewhere else. Covid has really screwed things up, along with other things that I won't go into because I don't want to be political, but I realize it's really hard to find help nowadays. This place came highly, highly recommended, so I'm sure it's really good. I wish I could have found out.
Very expensive, almost as much as you'll pay in a decent restaurant. Quality-wise, it's better than McDonald's type fast food but not restaurant quality, and my homemade burger obviously will blow it out of the water for a quarter of the price. Onion rings were pretty good, fries were soft, IDK how long they've been sitting.
HiBoy, you win. The Service, the HiBoy, the stuffed spudz, the Heath Cyclone, it was all outstanding. Being there took me back to my childhood. I can tell this place has been here for a very long time and I love everything about it. I'll be back with my family for sure, and soon!
We love trying burger joints wherever we travel. This one had been on our list for awhile and just happened to be near a drive-in theater we were going to later that night. They had great food and were very friendly. A few standouts being their onion rings and hi-boy burger. Just a great old-fashioned burger joint doing it the right way. Would love to come back someday.
