The Trail House - Indian Trail

I had quite an experience at the restaurant. There was a baby cockroach in my partner's glass, and while our waiter Chad promptly took it away and replaced the tea, I expected someone from management to come out and apologize, but that never happened. The meat we ordered was also disappointing, but I have to give credit to Chad for removing it from our bill. He was a great waiter, and my son and daughter left him a 20% tip for his service. It's just a shame that nobody else offered an apology for the issues we faced.

We dine here every week, and some of our favorite dishes include The Trail House Pasta, Mom's Meatloaf, Wings, Fish and Chips, and their new Key West Grilled Chicken. The Philly Cheesesteak is, without a doubt, the best! The hostesses and waitstaff are very friendly and provide excellent service!

**Visit #1:** The experience was a bit disappointing. While the staff was incredibly nice and friendly, we encountered some issues. When we arrived, there was no one at the host stand for about seven minutes, and during that time, the hostess was sitting with friends. Once we finally ordered, it took almost an hour for the food to arrive. Our meal came out in stages, and we were left without silverware, which made it difficult to eat. I ended up having to flag down a busser just to get utensils and the check. I may consider returning, but probably not on a Saturday night again. **Visit #2:** I went back early on a Saturday, and the experience was much better! The atmosphere was improved, and the food was still excellent. We ordered garlic Parmesan wings, lemon pepper wings, and a wedge salad. Our waiter was outstanding, and the food came out quickly. I definitely recommend this place!

I was at a bachelor party a few weeks ago. I had an explosion!!! The food was great as we had a private room with catering. Our waitress was phenomenal and laughed and made jokes with us. The atmosphere and the band were great!!! I would like to go back soon for girls night, club lunch / dinner or a date with my husband.

Just moved with my parents and they said the place was great so we went. However I was refused a kids meal when I asked. I don?t really care about paying full price for meal, I have a sensitive stomach and prefer to eat a kids meal because it?s simple and suits me since I?m super picky. I checked the menu and it doesn?t have any age requirements for the meals. I?ve attached a photo. It was just really annoying because I went with my family and basically couldn?t eat. My father ended up asking for a kids meal and said it was for my younger cousin. It was embarrassing. Everyone in my family seemed to like it, but if you are a picky eater and just want some safe food I do not recommend coming here :
