Daddy Jack's Restaurant Bar

I can't believe that I need to write this review but the food I had yesterday at Daddy Jack's wasn't their normal quality. French fries were dry and my grouper fish sandwich (no bun) was horrible. Did they get a different chef or cook? I'm shocked.

Daddy, Jack's is an outstanding restaurant to meet friends and colleagues for lunch and dinner. You can always expect top-notch service and their food is always cooked to temperature. Overall, we've been happy with our experience at this location.

My dad was craving their grouper fish, so we came here based off of his previous experience. This restaurant is also connected with Kona Jack's when we first came in through the Daddy Jack's side, we were escorted to the other side because they don't take people under 21. What was super nice about this was that you can order food from both the Daddy and the Kona Jack's side and I thought that was really cool. Our server was extremely nice and made it clear to us we could order from either menu. We got the clam chowder, and it was so delicious probably the best I've ever had. It was followed by homemade bread, which was fresh out of the oven. However, I got the steak sandwich and it was very under seasoned, and it was an small portion of steak. Not to mention it was $19 for something that I could've gone somewhere else gotten better quality. My dad also said that his grouper was very under seasoned and he didn't enjoy it as he used to. The sides (fries, clam chowder, salad, bread) were all good. However, I will not be back here.

Had lunch at Daddy Jacks, it was delicious! Not pictured was a cup of Gumbo and chili soup. Hubs had Blackened Cod sandwich and I had a Patty Melt, it melted in my mouth. The grilled onions, Swiss and American cheese were perfection. We love to come a lot to Daddy Jacks and Kona Jacks, the restaurants are connected and you can order from either restaurant. It's like a 2 for 1!! In my opinion Kona Jacks has the freshest fish in town.

Interesting experience tonight with Daddy Jack. The evening started great until the table was thought of by two ladies. You seem to have a great time. But as soon as they listened to the music on their phone. Incredibly rude! 8 tables with couples try to have a great time. The waiting staff and the management confirm that this disturbed the other tables. Nothing. When we were gone, we complained about the terrible atmosphere of music. We were told that it was a sticky situation. All Daddy told me that the seven other couples in the room didn't care because you didn't even ask to turn off the music! ALL PATRONS HAVE RIGHT TO PEACEFUL DINNER and have to set up with private phone music! Get some guts and run the business. Be fair for all documents!
