After I ordered my mother birthday cake and paid over $70 for it. it also came stale. the cake itself...was probably 4 days old with fresh icing..I was told the top light about their loading that the cake stale. the old shingle inn has long gone.
Had the breakfast in the shingle inn this morning and was surprised how big the meal was! it is located on level 3 of the shopping center indooroopilly, towards myer ende. we were there early, so the parking was easy, but as with any shopping center, can. later on the day be a little more challenging. there is a mix of sitting furniture, tables and chairs (wood and a few low-set tables with sofa-type chairs. we felt that the menu was quite varied and there is a cabinet with sweet tasty to tempt their taste buds. we had the eier benny with bacon and the Canadian pancakes, coffee and tee. both dishes were big (eggs benny was huge! , very fillable and delicious. the personal was pleasant and we could also use an entertainment voucher that made the meal a tasty! the only suggestion I could make today out of our experience, it would be nice to have a little kiss on the wooden chairs as after a few hours they begin to feel it!
I went to this restaurant for breakfast one Sunday morning. I have to commend the staff for their excellent service - they were friendly and efficient, my order came out quickly and as requested. However, there was something about the atmosphere that felt a bit off. Despite the staff being smiling and efficient, there was a lack of warmth and friendliness. This might seem like a small detail, but it made a difference in my overall experience. Would I return? Yes, despite this small issue.
What a delight, the Shingle Inn is the perfect spot for breakfast. We were greeted and helped by Lorraine, she is extremely friendly and made our breakfast experience one to remember. My husband and I both had their eggs benedict, which lived up to the...Benedict name, mouthwatering and delicious, paired with some coffe and the friendly, smiling faces of the staff. I would return to the Shingle Inn solely to be served by their staff and maybe some coffee. Thank You for a great breakfast.
Don't come here. The food wasn't decent with the money I paid. Tiny potions, burger wasn't good for $15.
