This is a hotel restaurant at the top of the hill. The outdoor seating area has great views of San Gabriel Valley. Inside is nicely decorated. We came for Thanksgiving. Our party of eight enjoyed our meals including the girls who had french fries as an appetizer. No complaints about the service. Besides turkey they had prime rib and salmon entrees special for the holiday. I would definitely return.
Great place to eat! Located in the Pacific Palms Resort, they have a great experience to offer. FOOD Their food always delivers! Came in for multiple meals. Their menu offerings are always great and has a wide variety for everyone to eat. They even were accommodating to make something vegan for a coworker. Their bread pudding is always a fave of mine! SERVICE Absolute 5 star service! Always very friendly and were even gracious enough to let our dog join us on the patio. They take care of us well when we come here. AMBIANCE Inside, it's nice. But outside is even nicer to see golf carts driving by the course and see the greenery of the hills. I enjoy my time when dining here.
My family and I visited on Thanksgiving 2023, and it was great to see my old stomping ground. The ambiance is phenomenal at this place, and they have free parking. We had an outdoor seating and it was not crowded at all for lunch. We were given the Thanksgiving menu and our group of 4 decided to get 3 honey glazed salmon, 1 prime rib entrée, and raspberry mousse cake for desert. We were not satisfied with the soup and salad selection on the TG menu, so we asked the waiter for a regular menu. He gave us a smaller version which has shareables and small appetizers. We got the lobster chowder, chopped salad, and calamari, and I'm glad we did! Food: Thanksgiving menu -Prime rib (10/10 Juicy and very tender! It came with veggies, mashed potato, au jus, and horseradish. Very satisfied with this one. -Salmon (4/10 Needs seasoning. The waiter came and asked us if we're satisfied with our food and I had to tell him about the salmon. It was not good at all. My daughter asked for salt and told me the asparagus was undercooked. My mom's salmon was also undercooked. They took one salmon plate off the bill. -Raspberry mousse cake (10/10 delish! Gone in 60 seconds : Regular menu: -Lobster chowder (11/10 My favorite! We had to order 2 because I finished the first bowl by myself. I was supposed to share 1 bowl with my mom lol. -Chopped salad (10/10 A little dry for my family's taste but we asked for more dressing on the side. I liked it without too much dressing so this one's a yes for me. -Calamari (8/10 Big chunks of battered squid and they're delicious. Nothing extraordinary but it was good. Service: (11/10 Our waiter, Rogelio (I think that's his name , went above and beyond serving our table. He was just as concerned as we were about the salmon disaster and fixed it for us. He was kind, efficient, and very personable and made our Thanksgiving day extra special.
I just love it, the food is amazing and the plates are pretty big, the waiters always doing an excellent service, and what we can say about the view it's incredible, they have outside and inside service but I'll recommend outside for sure.
