Innisfail Golf Club

One of Alberta's biggest golf stones! Golfing here since I was Junior member on the original 18 holes (now 27 magnificent holes of the real championship golf). So an amazing course with fantastic conditions, amenities and staff. A personal favorite!

This is a beautiful course that seems to be local secret. Challenging layout and stunning views!!

Wow is all I can really say!! Course was in great shape, staff was lovely to deal with, and the views were incredible with the fall colors. Played Aspen and Hazelwoodchallenging but broken up nicely with some par 3’s. Highly recommend you put this one on your list of courses to play. jscott18

The experience began on a positive note with the Pro-Shop attendant being very helpful and friendly. The starters were inviting and made for a great photo opportunity. Our group had four players, with three of us being teens. Our tee time was at 8:07, and by the eighth hole, the marshal informed us that we needed to speed up our pace as we were trailing behind the group ahead. I apologized and we hurried to finish the hole and complete nine. It was at this moment that I checked the time and realized we were actually well ahead of schedule. The scorecard indicates that a round should be completed in four hours and 25 minutes, and when we finished hole nine, it was only 9:58—under two hours for the first nine holes. I brought this to the marshal’s attention, but instead of being apologetic, he was confrontational and seemed oblivious to our progress. When I mentioned the scorecard timing, he insisted we should finish in under four hours since we were one of the first groups out. When we completed eighteen, it was 11:39, which was indeed under four hours. Despite the course's beauty, I will not return due to this negative experience, and I cannot recommend it to others because of the marshal's behavior. He reflects poorly on the course, and it’s unfortunate that he seems so power-hungry.
