The Frolic Folk Pub Grill - IONA

Drove 45 min from our holiday home and it was worth it. Food was great and we were lucky to hear the live Nova Scotian music. The pub was almost full, but our server could get us our food within a reasonable time. In addition, after reading some of the negative reviews here it is clear that the owners have taken feedback and have implemented changes to make the experience better. If we ever make the trip from Ontario again, we will definitely stop for a bite!

This was one of the best pubs I have been to in a long time. The location is phenomenal. The service is top notch. The food is REALLY great. We went for dinner. We went for drinks. We even went for breakfast. I recommend anyone to stay in the Inn and go to The Frolic Pub attached to it.

Came with a tour group with a limited menu for lunch. Host was personable helpful and accommodated allergies and other needs. The food was absolutely delicious including blackened salmon and chicken and the Thai soup was excellent. The views are good from the patio. Worth a side trip. Is it located next to the Highland Museum in Iona

Best sweet potato fries my wife and I have ever had. Someday we'd love to come back. Cheers from Vermont
