The Bowling Alley Ionia

The restaurant is quite lovely; everything is in good working order, and it’s very clean. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, the food is excellent. The staff does a great job maintaining the beautiful lanes, and they've recently upgraded everything, including the scoring system, which is now top-notch!

I wasn't impressed at all. Initially, the person at the front desk was unhelpful and borderline rude during our interaction. However, our waitress was a bright spot; she was very polite and did a fantastic job serving us, especially considering she was the only waitress for the entire bowling alley. The biggest issue, though, was with the bowling lanes themselves. They weren't oiled at all, making it feel like we were bowling on asphalt—it was that bad. The shoes just stuck to the wood and didn't slide at all. At $43 per hour, it felt overpriced for such poor lanes. On a positive note, the food was quite good!

We love it here. We aren't that into bowling though, so we wouldn't know if the lanes are bad. We just like to come here with our 3 young children and its perfect for us. Not very busy on a Sunday afternoon, really great bar food, and its cheap?

Our group of 4 had a great time playing here! We ordered food and it came out pretty fast even though our server had let us know the kitchen was running behind. Pizza was large and filling, quesadilla was about standard, salad looked average. Good bar food. I'm ordering fried pickles next time! Beer was cold and our server was right there to refill them. Our bowling games proceeded without complications, I'm not a bowler but everything looked up to snuff to me! Shoes were new looking too. Come out for a fun night with friends!
