Excellent food, very clean restaurant, service with a smile!

Best build-your-own burritos. Best rice, best queso, best tortillas. Love that they press each tortilla from dough in front of you. Sadly, this location was out of dough when I last visited, but the bowl was almost as good.

Last night my Husband and I visited Pancheros on RIverside drive. We were served by the most fun/professional/proficient and polite employees I have ever seen working there. Robert and Derek were awesome. Not only were they kind and friendly but they were great at their job. They loaded those burritos perfectly, wrapped em like the pros they are and made us what we believe to be the best burritos we have ever had from any of the stores in Iowa city. These 2 are excellent employees and true **** legends. These guys deserve to be recognised by the higher ups.

Ordered 2 quesadillas and a burrito for takeout, because my wife needed something to eat after giving birth to our second son. My wife took her first bite of her quesadilla and started crying.. Her first bite of food after 17 hours of labor and there was absolutely nothing in it!!! 2 whole pieces of her quesadilla with NOTHING inside. The half that did have food inside, wasn't even what we ordered! Also ordered 3 things of queso for about $6 that we didn't receive. Tried to call the store 25 minutes before they closed to get our money back and they wouldn't even answer the phone. Thanks for spitting in my face after I left you guys a generous tip on a takeout order, Pancheros. We will not be back!

The audacity of the manager to yell at the employees in front of the customers. They were just trying to do their jobs, especially with the uptick in mobile ordering and the manager was slowing everything down. If I were the employees, I would walk out. I would have told them that myself if I wasn’t worried about the manager giving me the same treatment. No job is worth the abuse that is given at this location.
