9's Grill And Cafe - Ipoh

Ipoh people have very high expectations when it comes to food, after all many would agree we have the best hawker food in Malaysia judging by the sheer number of tourists flocking here every weekend. However when it comes to western food, some may say we are still playing catch up. So, in this instance, I was pleasantly surprised by how well executed the steaks were in this cozy cafe and yes, I've been to Gordon, Jamie, Wolfgang, Joel and so on. I didn't try the other dishes but if you're looking for a unpretentious, cozy place to enjoy a simply seasoned, flavorful steak with a 100 or 10k bottle of wine, then you won't go wrong with 9's. Another thing I love about this place is having the owner who is passionate and knowledgeable in food and booze pop by to have a chat, which adds to a personal touch severely lacking in the F&B business. There is of course, always room for improvement so keep it up guys!

The food super yummy. Especially the salted egg chicken , must try. The drink’s decoration outstanding . Kids love so much . Nice place for family , friends gathering. Besides, the price reasonable. Will come again and again. Fully recommend .

Yummy food! As for dessert, i love their tiramisu and highly recommend the salted egg yolk boneless chicken leg, pork belly and lamb shank red wine !

We tried the Matsuzaka beef, signature fettuccini with tiger prawn+giant scallop and lamb rack. Highly recommend matsuzaka beef, the nicest beef I ever had so far. Thumbs up for the chef! The foods was great, freshly cooked very tasty and well presented. Great environment and nice service, we will certainly coming back here.

Nice environment with friendly crew. Would definitely recommend anyone who crave for a nice n decent meal. Yet to try the grill section... Already making some events to go there for the grill section of matsusaka beef... Yummy.
