John and Christine of J&C Entertainment did an amazing job at my brother 's celebration of life at the Gannon Golf Course in Lynn on Sunday Oct 9. We had a real party in Jim 's honor, at his request, no solemnity, no speeches, just a fun gathering in his honor. Before the event, John was very helpful in answering questions and putting the playlist together. On the day of the event, John and Christine arrived well ahead of time and had everything set up quickly. They had a special playlist of Jim 's favorite oldies tunes that we requested, and did some karaoke too. They even found a more obscure Carpenter 's song that I had wanted, Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft (and they fast forwarded through the talking intro part at my request). All in all, it was a great event thanks in large part to the amazing music and the special care that John and Christine gave us. I highly recommend them for any event!

We had previously decided not to have a DJ for our community 5K's first race back post-COVID. However, John reached out a few weeks before the race and having him there playing music made the morning so much better. John and Christine were really easy to work with both leading up to the event and at the event. They played great, family-friendly music and made the necessary race announcements. They asked requested all the info up front, asked questions when necessary, and even made suggestions to make our event more smooth. We would definitely have them back at Beverly's Fall Frolic 5K again!
