Jean Kay's Pasties - Iron Mountain

I visited several pasty shops in the area, and this one was by far the best. Unlike the others, this pasty had a comforting, soulful quality that really warmed me from the inside; you could feel the love that went into it. The woman at the front was a pleasure to chat with, even if our conversation was brief, and the atmosphere had a wonderful inviting aroma.

Absolutely delicious food and incredibly friendly staff! The dough was just perfect, and the pastries were bursting with flavor. I can't wait to come back for more!

The dish tasted like a delicious homemade pot roast, baked to perfection. The quality was outstanding! We also met the owner, who was absolutely lovely. If you're looking for an authentic pastry, this place is a must-try.

The pasties here are fantastic! The steak pasty with rutabaga was outstanding. I’ve always enjoyed pasties because they are hearty and satisfying. The cherry pasty was also delightful, with just the right amount of sweetness.

I decided to try them based on a recommendation from a co-worker during the mill shutdown. They served one of the best steak and rutabaga pasties I've ever had. I'm planning to go back to get some half-baked ones to take home with me.
