Tacos Co - Irvine

I had an excellent experience here and received amazing customer service. There was plenty of parking and it was easy to locate.

I ordered the tostada salad with carne asada, and I have to say, the meat was overcooked and lacked flavor. The same goes for the so-called guacamole and beans. There was a layer of grease at the bottom of the plate as well. To top it off, I couldn’t enjoy my meal with flies buzzing around my table. I should have trusted my instincts when I first walked in; the front door and tables looked like they hadn’t been cleaned properly. I can't believe this restaurant hasn't been inspected by the health department. This is a poor representation of Mexican food, and as a Hispanic person, I am quite disappointed.

Firstly, I want to mention the lemonade and horchata drinks, which taste nothing like the actual beverages. The prices do not match the quality of the food, especially considering the portion sizes in relation to the cost. I would recommend that anyone in the area consider spending their money elsewhere.

I went to lunch today and ordered a beef quesadilla. Unfortunately, it was disappointingly lacking in cheese and had only a tiny amount of beef. I paid nine dollars for the quesadilla and an extra three-fifty for a bit more beef. It was one of the biggest rip-offs and worst quesadillas I’ve ever had. To make matters worse, the manager was rude and quite aggressive. If you’re curious, the quality of the beef was so poor that even a horse or farm animal wouldn’t touch it. You can see the evidence in the attached photo. The manager’s name is Gabriel, and he really knows how to make a bad experience even worse.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant and the customer service was exceptional. There was ample parking available, and the location was easy to find.
