Flossie's Omni Las Colinas - Irving

We stayed at the Omni and had a late Saturday breakfast here. First of all, it's awesome that they serve breakfast until noon. Super great. We arrived about 11:00am and were seated quickly at a nice table. The ambience is quite good. Lots of natural light. Farm-style decor. We decided to enjoy the breakfast buffet. $22 per person wasn't bad at all for the quality received. Included our juice and coffee as well. We liked just about everything we ate. Fruit, eggs, meats, baked goods. The only detractor was the service. Our server was quick to get us drinks at the beginning of the meal, but she brought our check before we had even finished our first trip to the buffet. And then we didn't see her again! Had to flag down other servers for refills. Very bizarre. But overall, it was a very good experience, and we would return if staying at the Omni.

Excellent service! Thoughtful menu. Food was quite tasty. I prefer quiet restaurants but this wasn’t loud.

The food was just okay. The $46 steak was thin and gristle. Honestly I didn’t care for anything we ate. We shared a meal, one glass of wine each and it was $90. . Not worth it. Oh, and there was a couple on speaker video chat super loud and they didn’t ask them to stop.

There were only two staff members working at the restaurant, which made the service a bit slow. It didn't meet the standards I'm accustomed to from the Omni.
