Dal Forno - IRWIN

We went to Dal Forno for the first time about a year ago, especially because we heard about the great pizza there! It's an hour drive for us, but we loved the pizza so much, determined to go back. We went last night and were so disappointed that the menu now includes only three pizzas, and you cannot build your own. Very sad that this has changed! Also the selection of beers was a little limited, as hubby asked after 2 who were not in stock. We ordered a paprika pizza that was brilliant. I'm sad we're probably not going back.

We love this place. Wish they still had the Speck pizza! That was the absolute best pizza ever! Michelle was our server and was awesome. We had a few questions about the menu since it changed since the last time we were there. She answered all our questions and made great suggestions.

This restaurant is outstanding. The food is made from scratch, and the ricotta and pear appetizer is simply delightful. They also have a fantastic cigar and bourbon bar tucked away at the back, separate from the dining area. The ambiance is very laid-back, and the staff is attentive and friendly. I absolutely love this place!

This charming, tucked-away restaurant has a concise and thoughtfully crafted menu, though it leans towards the pricier side. Both the venue and their expertly brewed beers are somewhat hidden gems; if you don't ask about them, you might miss out, but they are well worth trying. As for the food, I was tempted to order one of their pizzas, but I had indulged the day before and wanted to monitor my calorie intake. Instead, I opted for a steak, which they assure is cooked in the same oven as the pizzas. It was distinctly different and very flavorful. However, the side dishes could use some improvement. The staff were friendly, and the restroom was clean. Overall, a pleasant experience!

Outstanding! There's no need to travel to Pittsburgh for a delicious meal when you can find it right here. Chef Eric and his team did an incredible job.
