Dimple's Bombay Talk - Iselin

Cute, small place with quick service. The food was good, full of spices which I love. The sambar was kind of oily but everything else was great!

I ate here solo and I had an enjoyable experience. I first ordered the paper mysore plain dosa and then ordered the plain mysore dosa. Both were above average. I have been coming here for years and I plan to continue! Thankful for a consistent experience: quick service, little to no frills, great food. Would recommend if you haven't tried.

Good outdoor dining on the main shopping strip. Fast service. Sweet and spicy. Authentic. Only problem is parking on the weekends.

Dimple's Bombay Talk is about as real as it gets outside of Calcutta or New Delhi. If you've ever spent any time in Iselin or Edison then you know how similar India is to New Jersey. The parallels between India and New Jersey are uncanny! This restaurant is owned and operated by Indian Americans who know authentic Indian cuisine. Unfortunately they don't offer mulligatawny soup. They have a separate version in India called something else which they informed me about. I will come back for hybrid Indian Chinese food whenever I'm back in the area.

Went back to dimples today and ordered some food . Disappointed ! We always loved dimple but today was not good ! Oh my god American chipsey was such a flop ! Not even 10% as good as what we used to have before . Even the veg manchow soup was a bit watery ! Not the same taste . Not sure if the chef changed . Paneer was bad too : I can only taste paneer and not anything f else . It was kinda raw. Veg rice was awesomeeeeee .. might have to take dimples off my list now :
