My partner and I were looking for a great seafood place in isla mujeres and found this one on trip advisor with so many good reviews. We are seafood people and have eaten seafood all over the world. The ceviche was good and reasonably priced. However, we noticed the fish in the ceviche was tough. We ordered a fish filet al ajillo (we did not ask what kind of fish). The fish was extremely tough, I thought I was cutting into chicken. I took one bite and he took 3 bites and we could not eat it anymore. It tasted as if it had gone bad, even with all the sauce and flavoring! The staff was friendly but we will not be returning.

I wanted fried, whole fish on Isla Mujeres and this is the place I got exactly what I wanted! The other one I tried at El Chefcito was good, but overcooked and dry. This one was fried to perfection! Great salsas, too. Fabulously affordable little hole in the wall, but don't expect a lot of ambiance. Great, fast, efficient service. Got there just before closing, though, which must be why we were the only customers there. No other reason as everything was fantastic! Highly recommend as a great place to escape the gringo tourists.

Nous n'y somos pas ayer , nous nous sommes fait livrer un ceviche mixte et une soupe de fruits de mer que nous avons dégusté au bord de la piscina de notre hotel , délicieux !!Franchement à aire !!!
