The Narrow Boat - Islington

We haven't dined out on Christmas Day in a while, so it took some courage to choose to do so on such an important day. The experience felt very personalized and the staff's hosting skills were exceptional. The food was also top-notch. The important question is, would we go again? Absolutely yes.

We adore this neighborhood pub that serves delicious food, including a fantastic roast, and has a very welcoming staff. An added bonus is that it is dog-friendly, making it a perfect spot to visit after a walk.

I had an amazing Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. The Bakewell tart was especially delicious. The atmosphere was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We arranged a special family dinner for 19 people. The staff were brilliant, from Sophie organising the event with plenty of contact beforehand to ensure all menu choices were made and special dietary/allergen taken note of, to the fantastic staff on the night, especially Rhys very helpful,friendly and accommodating of our noisy crowd! The food was excellent with a great choice of dishes all of my guests thoroughly enjoyed their meals, thank you. A wonderful memorable evening out I can highly recommend the Narrowboat as a top venue for eating out.

From the moment I booked to arrival Great welcome friendly and happy staff l. Absolutely fabulous food staff fantastic. We had three different roasts all super. Might have been good if the chicken could have been breast no bones. Would have liked a larger selection of red wine by glass. Highly recommend this place great food great atmosphere and good value,
