Khmer Angkor - Ithaca

What a lovely farmers' market! There were plenty of bakers, vegetable vendors, and other local producers offering delicious goods. The market was well-organized, and everyone was so friendly, which made for a delightful experience. We bought some leeks to take home and enjoyed breakfast by the lake at the back. It was fantastic that there was a parking lot available, so we didn’t have to search for a spot. We arrived at 9:00 AM, and those who came after us had to wait a bit longer for parking, but it wasn't too chaotic. Overall, a wonderful visit!

This place is absolutely delightful! I look forward to every visit when I'm in Ithaca on weekends. It’s not your typical farmers market; instead, it offers a captivating experience filled with art and crafts, rather than just the usual produce. There’s often live music by the water, and you can stroll around for hours while enjoying a fantastic lunch or coffee from one of the vendors. It’s a must-visit for anyone in the area. The only downsides are the limited parking (which fills up quickly) and the prices being a bit higher than what you might expect at a farmers market, but personally, I don’t find that to be a drawback.

This market may not be large, but it offers a wonderful variety of goods. It's a lovely local market filled with fresh, high-quality products. While the prices are a bit higher, the quality definitely matches. We picked up honey, soaps, and bread, and I wished we could have explored more before the market closed at 3 p.m. There are plenty of parking spaces available, but unfortunately, it rained, leaving the area quite muddy.

The Ithaca Farmer’s Market is ALWAYS an event as there are child activities (dollt shows, book reading), live music by local bands, Cornell University and Ithaca College Crew races, and TONS by ethnic food, fresh products, organic meat, handcrafted wines/wings, handcrafted woodwork, handcrafted clothing, it goes on and on. If necessary, there are ATMs on site, parking is free and easily available. Each cabin is different as they perform their transactions, but most will now use money, credit and e-pay systems (e.g. Apple Pay).

Nice relaxing vibe with lots of great local produce and unique finds, plus a variety of international foods including Cambodian, West African, Thai, Indian samosas, crepes, gyros, handpies, and burritos...and amazing homemade ice cream with freshmade waffle cones! Highly recommend!
