Yamayu Santatsu - Ixelles

The restaurant may be authentic Japanese. But the owners do not have manners. Two times I went. Both kicked out in a very impolite manner. The first because I went with my dog. Ok. I understand. The second time because I arrived 15 min earlier than their opening. Instead of establishing us at our table they sent us for coffee, almost pushing us towards the exit and the street. Everything was in order inside the restaurant (tables, cleaning). We could wait on the table, but the owner kicked us out. Never again.

Food to die for, it's so good and high quality. I loved having the opportunity to eat in one of the group rooms. The experience was very authentic. This restaurant offers lunch options that are quick and well thought out. I enjoyed it there and I would like to try the evening atmosphere but given the service I am still hesitant. The boss is not always easy to understand. For lunch it's perfect: we go there, we take the ready-made formula and we leave. We have to put up with certain comments from staff who sometimes give us the impression of being a nuisance. I think it's better to book in advance if you want to have a place.
