Brooksie's Barn - Jackson

First time diner. Heard it was good so came for lunch. First impressions of the place are good. It?s truly a barn! And it?s on a lake with relatively good views of a lake and many, many A/C units! For the price for 2 at lunch it?s not worth it. Before tip it was $32. The service was fantastic and very genuine. The food was just OKAY. I guess there?s different camps when it comes to southern food and I was disappointed to find that this place has Sweet cornbread! That?ssacrilegious where I?m from!

I am SO happy I found this place. The food is amazing, the deserts are to die for, and the staff are all extremely friendly and outgoing. The restaurant sits right next to a beautiful pond with a solid wall of windows to view it from just about anywhere inside. If you're ever in the Jackson are definitely check this place out!

My friend and I really enjoyed our day out at this restaurant. We had a beautiful view of the water while eating our lunch.The building was very nice and clean. Our waiter and the man working the cash register were so nice and very efficient. We loved our country cooked with love food!!! Mmm,so good!

It was our 1st time here. Wide assortment of everything! Only issue was mashed potatoes were cold. The staff was amazing. Quick to refill our drinks and clear up plates. Refilled the food quickly at the buffet. Will definitely come back. Proud to support a local restaurant! Price was very reasonable! Also offered a kids price for those under 10. Definitely a hidden gem!

It is a little hard to find but once you get there the views are amazing and the food is incredible. For a low price of around $10 we got fried fish, meatloaf, baked and fried chicken, a salad bar, plenty of vegetables, rolls, cornbread, and, several desserts to choose from. Will definitely stop again when going thru town. Great break from “ordinary on the road food”.
