I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. The staff was incredibly polite, and a gentleman greeted me with a warm welcome. I had visited the place with my family years ago, but I had trouble finding it again since I'm not familiar with the area. I wanted to order pinto beans, but unfortunately, they were no longer on the menu. The gentleman informed me that they are famous for their red bean rice, but I decided to try the special dish with potatoes, rustic bark meat, and greens instead. It was delicious, and the atmosphere was very pleasant.

Hal and Mals consistently offers delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere. The Tamale Nachos appetizer is substantial enough to serve as a meal for two adults. They were absolutely fantastic!

The Monday night blues show was fantastic! I definitely plan to return. My only issue was that my food wasn't hot.
