Martin's Downtown - Jackson

We came to see our friends Eric Sharp and Johnny Ringo perform as the opening act for Framing The Red. The venue was fantastic, the food was delicious, and I would definitely recommend it!

I highly recommend trying the fried green tomatoes! The catfish dinner was served hot and was absolutely delicious! The cocktail menu is impressive as well! I definitely suggest visiting this restaurant!

Elise was our server, and she greeted us just two minutes after we sat down. Her service was outstanding. The appetizers arrived incredibly quickly—I was truly surprised! I tried the fried green tomatoes, and they were delicious! The restaurant is owned by a Marine veteran, which I deeply appreciate as I am also a Marine veteran. Elise mentioned that he is working on offering a veteran discount in the future. The place featured live music and had a spacious area in the back for parties. They also had plenty of slot machines.

This place rocks. I visited them a couple months back and had my first ever experience with trying catfish and it was a wonderful one! Seasoned wonderfully, not greasy, and yummy sides. My waitress was very sweet, prompt, and friendly! I would go back in a heartbeat if I was in the area.

The hamburger steak with my choice of sides was so delicious. My cocktail was also on point. The staff was great and I will most definitely be visiting again, real soon.
