Blue Orchid Thai Cuisine - Jacksonville

The service was friendly and attentive. It was enjoyable trying out the new menu items.

Friday night we went to the Blue Orchid on Atlantic Blvd. for dinner. We have eaten there many times previously and have always had a good experience. Friday night the service was horrible. We waited 20 minutes for our drinks, and when they finally arrived, my husband's was not what he ordered. Another 10 minutes passed to correct the problem, which was not complicated-only iced tea, half-and-half. We ordered dinner when our server finally appeared again-another long wait and the restaurant was not overly busy. Steve, the manager went out of his way to make things right for us. He has always been so pleasant and accommodating, and that night was no exception. Dinner at last arrived and was very good, as always. After eating, we again waited...and waited...and waited for our check. Finally Steve came and took care of our check for us, comping our appetizer and drinks, which we thought was exceptionally nice. We, of course, will return, but will certainly ask for another server is this one is still there.

We go to blue orchid, at least once per month, and it never fails. A pad Thai was a little bit on the spicy side today, but still delicious.

Came for dinner and happy hour half off wine was a treat. Was craving their wonton soup and it was excellent as always. Chicken Pad Thai also on point. Best Thai food around. Service was superior.

This restaurant has always been a fantastic choice for enjoying delicious Thai cuisine and excellent service. We have never been disappointed in the many years that we have been dining here.
