Casa Mia Pizzeria - Jacksonville

I visited Casa Mia for pizza and a calzone last night (April 25, 2022), and it was fantastic! They served a delicious garlic oil or garlic butter sauce with some complimentary garlic knots, which were amazing. A staff member even gave us some extra garlic knots while we waited for our food. We used the additional garlic sauce on both the pizza and the calzone. The pizza had a wonderfully crispy crust that really made a difference -- great job, Casa Mia! There were so many good things about this meal. The staff was friendly and attentive, frequently checking in to see if we needed anything, whether it was refills on tea or more sauce. I highly recommend this place for dinner. The tea was flavorful, quite a contrast to the sugary water served at fast-food places.

Your food is consistently fantastic! All the pizzas, Stromboli, and subs we've tried have been great. Tonight, we enjoyed the October Special, Pickle Pizza, and it was delicious! My daughter ordered a turkey sub and a cannoli for dessert, and everything was absolutely delightful!

I stopped by for a quick bite and tried the stuffed pizza, which turned out to be the best pizza I've had in years! I enjoyed it so much that I ended up devouring an entire container of marinara sauce alongside it, and I still had some leftovers. The owners were incredibly friendly and even treated us to garlic knots while we waited. I highly recommend this place!

All in all, pretty good. Although it's Stuffed Pizza was disappointing, compared to what I know how to be stuffed pizza. Living in Chicago, New England and California, you can be sure I know what I'm talking about. A mental snapshot before the order... It was there regular pizza crust on the bottom and top with another from there regular pizza crust on the top, without sauce or cheese. Fortunately, the young man who made the pizzas offered a side of the pizza sauce was an excellent idea. Now on a positive note, it was an excellent pizza sauce and the variety of blows it was filled high grade and more than abundant! Maybe I'm spoiled, but I expected both crusts to be more like cake crust, pizza dough rolled very thin and finished with a thin layer of pizza sauce and a slight amount of mozzarella. I mean, as it was done everywhere, I ordered a stuffed pizza from the coast to the coast. including the small old Rhode Island, which I think with Chicago for the best of the best. This great review and rant is totally conceived as constructive criticism for the owner/owner. Because one of a few around that I know, everything else is right! I bet a month's pay if they were the classic style of stuffed pizza I mentioned above, they would be the market in Eastern North Carolina corner! All my best to Casa Mia and great staff!

Love this place! I dislike chain pizza restaurants so much, I prefer smaller businesses. These people genuinely care about their customers and have always treated us well. We found them through the reccomendation of a friend and we are so glad we did. Such delicious food and you can tell they take the time to make it right!
