Duck's Grille - Jacksonville

The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff was incredible! We enjoyed every single dish we ordered. Definitely a 10/10! If we find ourselves back in this area for our Marine, we will definitely return!

Our family visited to spend time with our nephew, who recently joined the Marines, and we wanted to have a special Christmas dinner together. We each chose different dishes, and everyone expressed how much they enjoyed their meals. My husband ordered the grouper and declared it one of the best seafood dishes he has had in a long time. I had the citrus salad with grilled chicken, which was fresh and bursting with flavor. My sister-in-law tried the blackened airline chicken and thought it was fantastic. My brother and nephew both enjoyed the ribeye, claiming it was cooked to perfection. However, my niece had the chicken Alfredo, which she found disappointing and a bit bland. Our waitress was exceptional—very attentive and had a wonderful demeanor. I would have rated this place five stars, but the decor felt a bit outdated, and the floors were quite dirty.

The experience was fantastic! Initially, it was a bit noisy, but it eventually settled down.

Service was great..fast, knowledgeable, kind. Food was sub-par. We had the duck and shrimp and grits. Duck was over cooked and couldn't taste the blueberry sauce. Shrimp was off. Dessert was ok. Drinks were good and a lot to choose from.

Food was delicious, the salmon florentine was amazing as was the crab dip. The drinks were weak, though. Our service was lackluster and the hostess seemed a little frazzled. Its kind of a strange vibe.. prices and menu reflect a higher end place, but then theres bar top tables alongside booths where most people are loudly discussing the sports on. Id say its more a fancy sports bar than a fancy restaurant for sure.
