La Nopalera - Jacksonville

La Nopalera has the best Mexican food I have ever tasted. I have been to Mexico, I have lived in Texas and Arizona...no one even comes close. I think that everyone should at least give La Nop a try!

It seems as though everyone who works there and half the customers speak Spanish. The food is very good for what you order--standards. If you 're looking for an orange chicken filet with chiplotle, then go 2500 miles away. The prices can 't be beat and the atmosphere is what it is. I 'd take a client or out of town family there before the bland **** of higher ;chain ; restaurants (think Tinsletown). Nice beer specials..

La Nopalera has been voted the best Mexican in Jacksonville for the last 3 years. It is delicious! The location isn't the best. There is next enough parking so people end up parking in any free space available. The building is also a little shady. The walls and floors are always dirty but if you can look past that, you won't be disappointed with the food. The prices aren't bad either for the amount you get. We always have enough for lunch the next day.

La Nopalera has turned into our favorite restaurant to eat at whenever and take out of town friends to. We have enjoyed the service and authentic tastes of almost every dish!

I have eaten at La Nop several times. Its delicious, authentic Mexican food and unbeatable prices have gained this restaurant the reputation of being one of the best (if not THE best) Mexican restaurant in Jax. I love eating there. It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking it up.
