Newk's Eatery - Jacksonville

Eat for the first time in this place. Not sure it's a chain restaurant or not, but never heard of it. We were very impressed by the quality of food (expect to pay a bit more than Panera, but totally worth it). If you are on a budget, get the grilled cheese of the child with tomato soup and you will be satisfied. The best Cole Slav ever!

Newks Eatery is fast, fresh and tasty. I was here several times. You have a great menu and even lunch couples, half sandwich, salad or soup. The taste profiles are great. Everything on the menu is delish.

I decided to go to Newk last Saturday. I was often here and enjoyed the food most of the time. I ordered the tomato soup with Pesto chicken sandwich on the 11 grain bread. I didn't want the paprika or the cheese, and even though I told them they didn't add my sandwich, it still came with cheese. I came back and got a new one without. The soup was good, but it was a bit salty. The sandwich was extremely salty and not pleasant at all! I couldn't finish it and was not satisfied with it. I have noticed that there is a lot of salt in all their foods except salads when ordered level and you add olive oil and red wine vinegar. I'm not sure I'm going back here.

The loaded potato soup was delicious, service was friendly, the ?Q? sandwich was a little dry though.

Really friendly staff. Food was good and serving was great for the price! Nice chill place to eat at.
