Melly's Garden Pub Diner

When our beers arrived, we were not allowed to drink them out of the bottles and were not provided with beer mugs. Instead, we were given dirty steel cups. When we requested for the cups to be changed, our request was once again refused. It was clear that this restaurant had no understanding of customer service or how to treat people properly. We own restaurants ourselves back home and believe that the customer should always be treated like royalty, which was definitely not the case here. We will not be returning to this restaurant as it left a terrible taste in our mouths and a bad impression of Indonesian hospitality. This is unacceptable.

This is a comfortable spot to hang out with friends, with a sports bar theme. They offer a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as food. The location is easily accessible and conveniently situated in central Jakarta. They have live music performances daily. The staff is friendly and provides good service.

The atmosphere at this restaurant hasn't changed much over the years, but it still maintains a wonderful Balinese vibe in the heart of Jakarta. You can enjoy a couple of drinks, have good conversations without too much loud music, and the owners are friendly and grateful for your visit. The prices for drinks and snacks are reasonable, there is plenty of parking available, and the food is served in a timely manner.

I can 't believe I just found this place today. Nice place to hang out, have a drink. Be it coffee or alcoholic beverages. They have outdoor and indoor, which both are nice. I had balonku ada 5 , one of their speciality alcoholic cocktail. It is good, I reccomend you to try it. For dessert, I had jackfriut pie ice cream. Adequate too.

This place has old fashioned Kuta laidback vibes in the middle of Jakarta with outdoor tables. Nice and breezy to hang out with friends. They serve Western and Indonesian main course and snacks but I think the appeal is their affordable cocktails, priced around Rp. 99k For tidbits the portion is pretty small but with big pieces ie Calamari and French Fries. Calamari's kinda hard to chew. Banana fritters are ok. We tried different variety of Fried Rice (Prawn, Melly’s and Oxtail) and they were pretty good: Melly’s was rather spicy and is served with fried chicken. The Oxtail Fried Rice was served with generous portion of oxtails love the fried rice but I think the oxtails need more flavor. Prawn Fried Rice had the lightest flavor amongst all. Affordable price. Food and drinks (non alcoholic) per person around Rp. 125k. Friendly staffs but slow service.
