I ordered the stuff chicken and it was still raw in the middle when I asked for a restaurant manager I was told the manager wasn't available, finally the hotel manager came to see us. I shows him the raw chicken and according to him that's how chicken looks like as if have never had chicken before, he brought the chef out who finally admitted that indeed it was uncooked chicken. Did not get any apology from the manager all he said was that he'll get me another dish, need less to say the manager got a mouth full from us and we left the restaurant without having a meal. As a Canadian we are use to high level of customer serivce and I wasn't expecting same level of service in India but this was just ridicules.
We went too Love Italy after reading the reviews and we were not disappointed. Although it took us quite a while to locate the place, the effort was worth it. The place resembled a quaint village with outdoor seating. Inside the restaurant also the ambience is good and perfect for a romantic date. The food is delicious. We tried the Veg lasagna and mushroom spinach pizza both of which were lip-smacking. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for Italian food in Jalandhar..
I am a regular at Love Italy. The best thing I like about the place is the amazing ambience and friendly staff. The food is also fabulous. They serve Indian, chinese and Italian. Sit in the lovely outdoor garden for an out of the world experience!
Italian food was brilliant. I was surprised they even have a brick oven for pizza. Simply awesome. Decor is also very nice. The service was also very friendly and professional. The chef was very helpful in deciding the menu which made me feel very special. Two thumbs up to Love Italy!
It is the restaurant of hotel Regent Park in Jalandhar and we visited the place for its name (assuming all italian menu) and the reviews. We went for the buffet as we thought a la carte for two people would restrict us on only main dishes while in a buffet we can sample everything on the menu, but that was a disappointment. With the restaurant name of LOVE ITALY you would expect to have assorted Italian dishes on the menu, but they had only Pizza (only one - Simply Veg). The rest of the dishes included Indian, Chinese, Mongolian like any other place. Also, desserts was a major disappointment and it looked as if leftovers from the lunch were placed on the dinner buffet. I would rather suggest to go for an a la carte as the menu is exhaustive and the Pizza that was served as part of the buffet was the best part of the meal.
