Costello's Tavern - Jamaica Plain

We visited this restaurant for the first time since its reopening, and we will definitely be coming back! The drinks were excellent, and we ordered a variety of dishes (house salads, chicken fingers, pizza), all of which were extremely satisfying. The best part? The prices are very reasonable! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere was fantastic. There's no reason not to drop by, especially now that they accept more than just cash!

The best burgers in JP! The atmosphere is fantastic! You won't find a better-priced drink with top-shelf options anywhere else! They have been remodeled and are now OPEN! They offer a late-night bar from Thursday to Saturday, so make sure to drop by! You won't be disappointed! Just one request... PLEASE BRING BACK CHILLED GLASSES FOR THE BEER!! It's summertime, and there's nothing better than a frosty glass for my Sam Summer, which pairs perfectly with the Costello Burger (don’t forget to add sautéed onions)!

I returned for the first time since the reopening and had a great experience. The server appeared to be new but was very accommodating. Prices are higher than at Galway House, so I'm not sure I'll be back unless I can't find a spot at the bar. However, the $6 Tall Boy Turtle Swamp can was a fantastic deal!

Recently reopened and hasn't seen the patronage that I would expect. Everyone is very friendly here and the alcohol selection is solid. I'd recommend taking advantage of the lower traffic before everyone starts re-figuring this place out. It feels so rare to find a spot like this these days.

Burgers are delicious. Service is great. Pizza just okay.
