Down The Street - Janesville

Overall good experience. Food was very good and prices seem fair. Got the brisket meal and it came with two sides and a salad which I thought was good for 22 bucks. My daughters for the burgers and they were pretty good. A smidgen undercooked. I don't like pink in my hamburgers but that's me. Service was good. Staff wasn't over friendly but they did there job. Seating is strange here. They only have 1 table for a larger party. We had 9 with us. So that stinks. Kinda of a wait if you have a large party. No waiting area for people so they were standing next to our table while we ate and that wasn't too great. It I would come again. Mashed potatoes and gravy were awesome. Cole slaw was below average. Would not get as a side again Old fashioned was mediocre. Would pass on that too.

Very cool atmosphere from the time we walked in. All the staff was very welcoming and friendly. Food came out very quick and was fantastic. I had the blackened chicken mango habanero tacos. Wish we lived closer cause I would have gone back the next t day to have them again.

Went into the restaurant to do a takeout order. It was early but the place had people enjoying the fish fry. Very easy to order from the bar. The service was prompt and very friendly. Our order was quickly prepared and we were on our way within 15 minutes. We enjoyed the cook on the fish, tender and falling easily apart. The fries were excellent. It also came with a corn meal muffin, slice of lemon, coleslaw and tartar sauce. The corn muffin was a great desert. An excellent Friday fish fry.

We got here late about 9pm. They still had the grill going. Only ppl there eating. The food was amazing and cooked to perfection. Burger made to order was mouth watering. Fried egg guacamole cheese and bacon ribeye steak was so tender and juicy. Sweet potato fries and waffle fries were some of the best. Will be back!! Fast friendly service. Atmosphere was really cool vibe and so clean

Consistently great burgers and service. Well worth the stop. My usual is the Whiskey Ranch Burger. Lots of great choices on the food menu and the drinks menu is loaded with a nice array as well.
