Karouzos Steakhouse - Jasper

I realize your choices are limited in this mountain town but this is NOT Greek food as it should be.

Dissapointed_Must not have been my dayOrdered a steak with peppers and onion mix which was $5.00 xtra_Not worth the xtra $.

Had a meal here with my family Service was excellent, and EVERYONE'S food was delicious Pretty impressive with nine different dishes.

We picked this restaurant as Trip Advisor had it listed as the #1 steakhouse in Jasper and the patio is on the Main Drag in Jasper so the people watching is great.Pro's - our server was very polite. - view on the patio is amazing. Cons - my son's order was messed up twice. We spent a lot of money (ordered beers and ceasars with the meal. My son's order was prime rib with au jus on the side, along with the mushroom and onions on the side. it arrived with everything dumped on top. He spoke to the manager and sent it back. it was returned with the mushrooms and onions scraped off with au just still on top. When he raised it again, she chastised him telling him he needed to specify that when he ordered. He did - twice, and since the prime rib was so expensive we wanted it done right. - my husbands medium rare steak arrived medium well done. After the hassles with my son. he just sucked it up and ate it. He also ordered mushrooms that never arrived, but they charged us for them on the bill. - and speaking of the bill, we paid a lot for our entrees, I was shocked to see that we were charged $3 for mushrooms and $2 for sautéed onions?I rarely do negative review. At the end of the day, we are easy going. We dine out often and recognize that mistakes are made. The reality is, we rang up a huge bill and ordered expensive entrees - it wouldn't been nice if the restaurant had better customer service and made it right. We didn't need a discount, but don't chastise a customer for wanting the meal the way they ordered it (especially when they address it politely).

Went to Karouzo's based on TripAdvisors recommendations. However the New York Steak was to dry, to long baked. Absolutely not the best in Alberta, Canada, or whatever they say. My son had a spaghetti which was ok, my wife had sirloin steak which was also fine. Friendly personel, Good location, clean restaurant.
