Ozark Cafe - Jasper

I absolutely loved the burger I had! This small-town restaurant delivered big flavor with the Ozark Quarter Pounder. The burger was almost too big to take a bite! If you're looking for something hearty, this will definitely satisfy your appetite. I've heard their breakfast is just as good, so I can't wait to go back and try that!

We really enjoy browsing through all the vintage photos! The food is consistently delightful, and the skillet cookie for dessert is incredible! Kid-friendly: The portion sizes are excellent for the price!

This restaurant is definitely child-friendly, as there seemed to be at least two kids crying throughout our visit. The chicken-fried steak and mashed potatoes were quite good. The gravy was different from what I expected, but it was acceptable. Unfortunately, the green beans were disappointing; they tasted like they came straight out of a can without even being rinsed. As for the salad bar, it was nearly empty, and what little food was there wasn't cold and looked unappetizing. Overall, the experience was just okay—not worth the $40 we spent, but we were hungry and ate something. Also, the cell phone reception inside the restaurant was really poor.
