Raven Rock Grill - Jenkins

Although I'm currently out of state, I visit often and never miss an opportunity to play at Raven Rock. The course poses a real challenge, even for experienced golfers, but as an older player, I opt to tee off from the middle tees and just embrace the challenge. Each hole offers something unique, and it's definitely beneficial to familiarize yourself with the layout. I've played a few rounds solo, soaking in the stunning views of the course and the surrounding mountains. I've taken plenty of pictures to share with my friends back in Michigan, and now they're eager to play this course too. The staff is welcoming, and I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about Raven Rock—other than maybe having to wait for deer to cross the fairway, but even that was a pleasant experience.

This golf course was an absolute delight. I visited on a rainy Sunday and found myself as the only golfer on the entire course. Mark in the Pro Shop was incredibly gracious and friendly. Despite the rain, which I didn't want to let ruin my experience, I cherished every shot, even the less-than-perfect ones. The views here are some of the best I've ever encountered on a golf course. It's a substantial layout that truly enhances the overall golfing journey.

I wasn't able to play the course or try the restaurant, but the service was exceptional. They arranged for me to play at a different course and even let me enjoy a complimentary bucket of balls. When I return to the area, I will definitely try to play there again.
