Írjon visszajelzéstMy wife and I have gone to Bernie a few times since it is a place where we like to take visitors and friends. I do not think that we have had any negative experiences here when they turn off when they have capacity that can definitely happen, so I would recommend making a reservation before the time when you are looking to dinate in. The good news is that warmer weather means more outdoor seating, which means more total capacity! The food was always good, every time we visited, from happy hour snacks to brunch to dinner, everything always tastes fresh. The atmosphere is also very beautiful, but again, if it is a full dining room, it can be a little loud. All in all, this is a great place with a variety of food/drink options that should work for just everyone!
The shrimp and grits were amazing with bacon, mushrooms, and chives. It's the best I have had ever
I really enjoy several dishes at this restaurant, including the poutine, mac and cheese, and roasted goat cheese; all are excellent. However, I wouldn't recommend the crab cake again. The ambiance is fantastic—I love the option to sit outside, complete with heat lamps for cooler weather, and the decor is lovely. The service is a bit on the slow side, so I wouldn't suggest visiting if you're in a hurry, but the atmosphere makes the wait more enjoyable. It's manageable even with small children, as the interior has enough ambient noise that you won't notice if they're a bit restless. Overall, the experience isn't too remarkable, but it can be stressful if you're uncertain about how your children will handle the wait.
I visited on a Sunday afternoon when the restaurant was quite busy, but I was still impressed with the service. The food was not only delicious but also a great value. I ordered a side of sausages and the Big Guy, which came with French toast, a pancake, bacon, eggs, and home fries. I particularly enjoyed how crispy the home fries were and appreciated the generous portion of sausages. They even serve alcohol! I recommend making a reservation before you go. One downside is that the address on their website is incorrect, which led my GPS to direct me to a high school. Thankfully, the address on Google was accurate, so I didn’t have to travel far to find the correct location. While it was frustrating to deal with the wrong address, I was lucky it didn’t take long to get there.
That said, my review stands apart from these issues. The service was adequate—neither particularly friendly nor unhelpful, just okay. As for the food, it wasn’t great. I ordered a Korean noodle dish, and it seemed like there was an excess of salad and not enough noodles. Honestly, I’d rate it a 3.5 if I could, but I’ll round it up to 4 in fairness to the restaurant.
